Counselling format
I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling.
The benefits of using technology to connect means you can have therapy wherever you can create a confidential space, be it at work, in your garden, or in the comfort of your home. This way of working makes counselling accessible to all.
I understand that some people prefer to work face-to-face. I work from a dedicated and peaceful consulting space in Buxton in the High Peak. Parking is available for clients, or the train station and town centre are a 10 minute walk. Face-to-face work involves an element of on-line work as I regularly work from a 2nd location for family reasons.
Appointments
The frequency of counselling appointments depends on the challenge you are working through, but most often sessions are scheduled once per week. As our work progresses, sessions may move to fortnightly or monthly. I offer flexible appointments for clients who work shift patterns and cannot dedicate the same day/time each week to sessions.
The number of counselling sessions varies from person to person. We will regularly review our work together to ensure you are getting the most out of sessions.
While starting therapy can feel scary at first, having a private space that is just yours, where you can focus on yourself, can be a huge relief.
Fees
Each counselling session is 1 hour, unless otherwise agreed. Each session is £60, paid at the session or via direct debit before the session.
Work requested from rehabilitation providers and Local Authorities will be costed depending on the nature of the requirement.
